National Average Price of Gasoline Hits an All-Time High

Much easier to put my empties in my truck bed when I have that option. Otherwise I have to toss them out on the highway.
Helps me when my dogs are in the bed and it starts raining while we're driving. Much easier for McRib to climb into the bed and the dogs to climb into the cab to avoid getting wet.

So as someone who had the truck and was in a fraternity, getting on the highway with a bunch of empty cans in the bed and back window down was like being in war. Those things would turn into missiles. One minute you're singing George Strait and the next you're getting popped by a natty light can

No clue what is going on in the Dept of Energy but they haven't released their weekly diesel rates since 6/13. It sounds like they will not release anything on July 5 as well. They had some hardware failures that evidently takes over 3 weeks to fix. I have no clue how a hardware failure completely prevents them from publishing their weekly on highway diesel numbers that so many in supply chain depend on.
you think these morons can do anything right?

I noticed that AAA predicted a record number of road miles for the Independence Day holiday period. I will admit I will be bewildered if that prediction comes to fruition. We've had similar economic anomalies over the past 40 years, but I don't believe anything this enigmatic

Brian Deese says Americans should 'stand firm' on paying record-high gas prices | Daily Mail Online

Biden economic advisor Brian Deese said that Americans should 'stand firm' on paying record-high gas prices because the 'future of the liberal world order' is more important.

'What do you say to those families that say, 'listen, we can't afford to pay $4.85 a gallon for months, if not years?' the director of the National Economic Council was asked on CNN Thursday.

'What you heard from the president today was a clear articulation of the stakes. This is about the future of the Liberal World Order and we have to stand firm,' he replied.

Ok .. Wow . That’s going to be a mid term campaign slogan we will see ran 24/7

Biden administration unveils oil and gas drilling plans, Gutting Trump-era Framework

The Biden administration published its long-awaited five-year offshore oil and gas leasing plan Friday one day after missing its June deadline.

The Department of the Interior (DOI) plan included the possibility of the federal government holding up to 11 lease sales off the coast of Alaska and in the Gulf of Mexico over the five-year period between 2023-2028. However, the plan also put forward the option of the federal government holding no lease sales in that same time period.

"From Day One, President Biden and I have made clear our commitment to transition to a clean energy economy," Interior Secretary Deb Haaland said in a statement. "Today, we put forward an opportunity for the American people to consider and provide input on the future of offshore oil and gas leasing. The time for the public to weigh in on our future is now."

The public has the opportunity to pick a plan, as long as it is our plan.

Pfftt.

I'm wondering if there is anyway we can get a few hundred windmills located a few hundred feet offshore from OBiden's Delaware compound. I love the word "compound" because all crappy dictators have compounds.
