National Average Price of Gasoline Hits an All-Time High

Enough with your dumbass Bring Me a Rock game. Plenty of information has been provided whether you are willing to acknowledge it or not. The whole country is reaping the stupid continual hostility your idiot ass party has laid on the petroleum industry for years if not decades.

Our country’s primary baseload power generation is natural gas generated. And will be for any foreseeable time. Yet you idiots continue to attack and attack fossil fuels with ZERO feasible alternatives. The exposed energy policy stupidity of the Democrat party is their own damn fault.
The democrat's solution is to shoot fire aim.

What a post. This has been brewing for so long..so let pigs lay in their beliefs. Unfortunately everybody is caught up in this sewer.

Can anyone see Twitter posts now? On any links on this forum they say not available, yet when I click I must sign in.

Ok when is htis happening now? What refinery has not been allowed to open, now? I have not heard anything about us having a refining problem, its a crude oil supply problem, correct?

It's a both problem. Yes, there's a oil supply problem (and that's the main driver) but there's a refinery capacity and efficiency problem. In short, refineries can't invest and make efficiency gains. That ultimately cost us more money since they usually only cost+. Higher costs for them, higher costs at the pump. Right now, we're over 10% off March oil high but gas prices are up 15% from that same point. That points to refinery issues.

For example, in Memphis, the Biden Administration has squashed several expansion projects at the Valero refinery. It squashed the Byhalia pipeline in this area as well. It has done similar things in LA and TX.

I wouldn’t go that far, but it all goes back to the “leadership” in Washington and their policies aimed at “ fundamental change” to promote their Green Agenda at the expense of everyday Americans with their boot on the neck of the oil and gas industry.

That's just vague mumbo jumbo political word salad.

What specific policy change can Biden make tomorrow that would increase supply? I have yet to hear of one other than a complete reversal of banning import of Russian oil or encouraging Europe to do the same.

From what I have read, its actually pretty small for us, directly. But when Europe stopped buying Russian oil and had to replace it, that added to the demand along with us and OPEC is not substantially increasing supply at all.

I have heard vague discussion of increasing domestic production. But no one ever speaks in specifics. Its some fuzzy goal in the future.

Fantastic post. I can't wait to see the idiotic Democrats pay at the polls. Couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch of a$$holes.

Easy, do a complete 180 from his first week in office. Get the Keystone pipeline project going again, reverse the additional regulations that were put in place, and reverse the policies on new leases. Basically he should adopt Trumps energy policies and deregulation. The price of oil would drop significantly as speculators flee their investments.

Look up one post from yours you disingenuous rube. Here I’ll even quote a part of it for you. These are the types of actions that make petroleum providers sit on the side line and wait for an energy policy attitude change.

For example, in Memphis, the Biden Administration has squashed several expansion projects at the Valero refinery. It squashed the Byhalia pipeline in this area as well. It has done similar things in LA and TX.

Open up everything. And drill.

Will the Democrats do that? I doubt it (it’s Putin’s fault).

Oh … Twitter… I have no idea other than if they flag it as sensitive content they might require a login just like Reddit. And I have neither.

The oil market is a global futures market, and the US is a huge player. The single best thing Biden could do is stop being hostile to the industry.

However, I’m afraid the Biden administration cannot put the toothpaste back in the tube. So we need to replace these green obsessed Democrats with an administration that has reasonable and supportive policy oriented toward supporting domestic oil production.

You make a good point. If they weren’t so incompetent the average price of gas would already be more than $10 a gallon.
