I know it's very early right now, but where do yall think the Vols will be ranked when the season starts? 10-15? 15-20?

I love the attitude the players have. Can't with for the season to start!

I think we will be ranked low. Probably around 20. The pollsters will look at the loss of 3 vital seniors and make the safe pick. The Vols will rise slowly and be around 10th by January.

I don't know, we have a pretty mean OOC schedule trying to break in some young players.

Understood about Hop. He has to bring it this year. I'm a Slurper by nature. Positivity is my calling card.

I understand it, and I'd be more likely inclined to agree if all of Scotty's problem was basketball ability. If it was just his inability to handle the ball and not driving to the lane more, I would be more inclined to think he can turn it around. But the moping, and the laziness on D, and the getting knocked down and he's done thing is what makes me think he won't be able to turn it around.

I think you just hit on why I specifically believe in Hop. Ability is the least of his problem. Unbridled youth is greater in my book than anything else concerning his habitual underachievement. I believe he's finally found his "voice".

I've thought for a while that Hopson gets too excited on the court at times, too much adrenaline flowing if you will. He needs to slow down and just play like he would in practice and he would be fine, imo

He's camping with some of the best, on his off-time. Hopefully its a sign of him finally stepping up . Let's go S-hop, show us what we've wanted to see.

If he finds that Zen this year, watch out. If not, I'll be wrong once again. I'll still take wrong over disillusion. Every. Time.

Agree. He steps up to his potential, UT is a FF contending team.
