What is wrong with you!!!! its called a question!!! And i will draw it out for you and color it while you can understand!! Is UT thats university of tenn. for sure out of the national title pic for sure!!! I didnt say they should be going or was going it was a question as far as polls go!!!! You need to read a little better before you speak!!

The answer is, no, there is still an outside shot. Many teams have played for or won National titles with 1 loss - especially a loss this early in the season.

I guess we will have to wait until the LSU game to further answer this question.

Plus, we would probably have to go undefeated the rest of the year and I have my doubts about that.

This team needs to pull it together right now.

We need to be worrying about LSU. Also, I am not sure Texas or USC is going to lose.

Its good that we've lost this early in the season and only fell to 10th....I will bet that we win this weekend....I say this because its rare that we lose 2 straight....Phil will have us ready to play and take LSU down....Now, if we do lose this weekend, I would say we are out of it....I can't remember when the last time a team with 2 losses played for the NC

Even though Louisville doesn't play anyone and has a patsy schedule, they'll go undefeated also...so you have 3 undefeated teams in January. UT is smoked at this point.

Just ignore him, he's always downing our football program.....Probably because he is a baseball fan and nothing against our baseball program but our football program is better known than our baseball program....It wasn't a dumb question at all, I've been wondering the same thing myself

In my opinion the Vols were never in the National Championship hunt.

They lost to Florida, they will lose to LSU, they will lose to Georgia, they will lose to Alabama.

They will struggle to beat Notre Dame and Vandy.

I see the Vols going 7-4 or maybe 6-5

They have to get rid of Sanders, revamp the defense, and Fulmer must regain control of the team.


And this is meant as a constructive reply.
