NBA Playoffs

I think the Cavs winning this series is just as shocking as the Warriors beating the Mavs. The Pistons may have blown there shot to win a title in the next few seasons.

Lebron is having a bad night . . . and he's 2 assists shy of a triple double.

Detroit has just laid one of the biggest 4th quarter eggs in playoff history.

This Detroit team reminds me of my Laker teams from a few years ago. They've been successful and won a couple of titles but I feel like this is the end of there era for competing deep in the playoffs. But it is the Eastern Conference.

It's good for Cleveland sports franchises to have great years every 5 or 6 seasons. Otherwise the people of Cleveland might dwell on the fact that they live in Cleveland and commit mass suicide.

That will be the end of this incarnation of the Pistons. They've now quit in Game 6 of the conference finals in back to back years. Good to see Rasheed Wallace showing great concern for his team by keeping his emotions in check.

The Tribe's pretty good this year, too. The Bowns? Not so much.

Rasheed Wallace should be relegated to Atlanta, Milwuakee or some other such NBA outpost for the rest of his career.

The sad thing is, from the standpoint of how he plays the game, there is not a more versatile, unselfish big man in the game. Steve Kerr made a great point early in the game. Chris Webber has never been a guy who spends a great deal of time bickering with officials. After spending half a season with Ra, he's picking up needless technicals in a must win game. Wallace eventually drags everyone around him into his madness. I was at the game when the Heat eliminated them last year and it appeared the Pistons were far more concerned with yelling at officials than they were staying alive in the playoffs.

I just don't see how a veteran can get himself ejected in the 4th quarter of an elimination game.

He just exploded. He's talented, but no championship contending team wants him on there team. I bet the Pistons are regretting bringing him in for these past couple of years.

The Grizzlies and the Hawks will give them a run for their money in that category.

The management at Philips Arena can't wait for the Hawks to finish their season so they can bring in Barnum and Bailey Circus and have a few Gaither Family Gospel concerts.

I bet they aren't. If they hadn't brought him in when they did, they would have exactly 0 NBA championships to show for this run.

I thought about that, but they still would have had a decent shot without him or his antics. I thinks it's because of him that this run is going to end with Flip and Chauncey both leaving after this season.

Flip Saunders should be leaving because he's a mediocre coach.
