'19 NC ATH Khafre Brown

Interesting note from the podcast. They said that if the Vols really pushed on Brown he would probably be committed already. Sounds like the staff is looking at other options.

Kids gonna kill it at slot with his speed and can line up in the backfield as well. Plus he’s tied in with Charlotte recruits including crouch. I hope we are after him hard.

This one is a head scratcher if true... we need someone like this in the slot and he is in with other recruits... I worry "names in the fall" is hedging your bets as to how well we will do on the field and last minute pullbacks like we saw from several 5* kids on this past signing day... hope we don't regret this (if we are indeed pulling away) in February...

Agree 100%

Doubt it's true. His brother is at UNC so doubt its as easy as they make it seem that he would just be committed

True. Wonder just how much Pruitt is involved in the offense or if it's pretty much just Helton running the ship on that side of the ball.

Haven't heard anything but Pruitt did say he hired Helton to take care of the offense.

Surely they wouldn't hire Helton and pay him that much money to meddle

Wondering the same thing. Hard to imagine that the guy who got involved with hiring a S&C coach while just the DC at Jawja is not involving himself in the offense. On the other hand, Saban is rumored to mainly delegate on that side of the ball so who the heck knows. Either way I feel better about JP being involved in the offense than I do Butch meddling with Shoop.

I feel like this is somewhat regular to find slot speed guys and we get real high on them and ultimately pursue other options. Every year it seems to happen.

That being said I hope we take this guy.
