From Rivals:

There have been no changes to Matthews’ top teams although Tennessee gave him “goosebumps” over the weekend as the environment was electric in Knoxville especially as the Vols knocked off Alabama.

Tennessee remains a major front-runner but there is going to be stiff competition for the 2026 high four-star cornerback from Cornelius (N.C.) Hough as South Carolina, North Carolina, Penn State, Florida State, Ohio State and Notre Dame stand out most.

i'm betting that will change. never bet against Garner.

If we get him, cool. If we don’t, oh well.
I’m fine with Groves and Wyatt.

He visited Carolina this past weekend and then they put out that article. That’s all I was trying to say.

I said a couple weeks ago, if we offer him in baseball then I think it would be easy. A lot of schools are offering him in both sports. I have not seen anything to indicate if we have or not.

It’s honestly been more Chop than RG lately. Good double team though with being developed by RG.
I hope Heupel does whatever is necessary to keep Chop. I am surprised he doesn’t have an in the field position yet. Maybe he doesn’t want one, who knows? But he is absolutely critical to our recruiting success

Dunham is more of a hand in the dirt DE than those two imo
