Could not disagree more. TN will recruit well no matter the conference status. Big difference would be that when TN's class finishes top 10, they would not finish 6th or 7th in the SEC, they would be top 3.

Kids in NC want to play in the SEC. they know it’s the best conference. They know it’s the place to be. No different from the ACC in basketball

Pruitt and co are usually good but they were dumb to not go after Howell and Greene. Greene got wide open for TDs in the bowl game and the WF QBs couldn’t hit him. Gonna be a great one

Agree 100%, big mistakes. We are at least 9-3 last season with those two, especially Howell. And Green is an athletic freak along the lines of Pickens. I like him at FS as good as WR

That's the thing with Pruitt, he seems to learn from his mistakes. Is why we about to do this to folks

For those of you who don't understand why people root for other SEC teams in bowl games and the playoffs, that last paragraph is the exact reason. Recruits care about playing in the best conference in the nation, and the SEC keeps that spot by beating teams outside the conference.

I will not root for Florida, Bama or Georgia ever, unless they are playing Ohio State.
