AP trying to let down easy or build suspense? If that was the case, why decommit from Clemson? They’re still winning as much or more than the nc schools and putting dlineman in the league.
It’s 50/50AP trying to let down easy or build suspense? If that was the case, why decommit from Clemson? They’re still winning as much or more than the nc schools and putting dlineman in the league.
Note: “Haven’t spoke to him”. Soooo just conjecturing? That’ll be $9.99.
I think this guys ours and the UNC talk is just hype.

I get that pre NIL, but these days the kids are getting paid enough it’s pretty easy to get the fam to games or move the fam if necessary and I’d think a decision about what’s best for a big time talents future would take precedence over staying home. But UNC would be the convenient decision for sure.Clemson is 4 hours from Durham. Chapel Hill is 20 mins.
Guess it's not that surprising. We wouldnt give this a moments notice had he not been here during one of our biggest games. Whatever reason, he could help this team.I get that pre NIL, but these days the kids are getting paid enough it’s pretty easy to get the fam to games or move the fam if necessary and I’d think a decision about what’s best for a big time talents future would take precedence over staying home. It takes time, effort/resources, and lots of money to recruit a player. With it being this close to SD, and Smith looking like an Aub lean - acc to Wiltdong - looks like we will need to move at warp speed to find some guys. It’s not signing day.
AP hasn’t spoken to him.
But yeah, let’s give up. I’m sure Rodney will just pack it in now.
UNC 247 some quotes from Campbell
"I think some people are probably going to have their minds blown [by my decision]," Campbell said
"I'm really big as an academic student, but also I'm a really big football player," Campbell said. "And I know I'm a great student and a great athlete at the same time and I have confidence in that. And the thing is with that, you can't just put your schoolwork off just to go play football. You know, you want to have both. I think that's what's big for me. You want to have a great degree and I want to have a great experience. When you could have academics and sports also, I think that is a mind-blower for me."
"Especially with me wanting to [major in] business and either accounting and finance, talking to just great people [at UNC] -- talking with 'Miss Jackie' [Fritsch, Associate Director of Admissions for Kenan Flagler Business School], talking with Mack Brown -- and just the many connections with North Carolina, [UNC has the balance I desire]," Campbell said. "With my decision, it's everything: it's the people, it's the culture, it's the families -- it's really just the unit. I see why Carolina really doesn't accept a whole lot of people because it's a close-knit of the people that really think the same."
Wow. Did he even visit Harvard, or he’s just going to commit sight-unseen?UNC 247 some quotes from Campbell
