Random. Seems like Maryland gets a highly rated recruit every now and then. Never understood it
Typically, it means that some of the other offers are not committable. Maryland and West Virginia are two examples of schools that benefit from that. Have no idea if that is the case here. Usually there is some red flag that makes the "big offers" hesitant. So the player takes the offer from the school that is thrilled to get a talented player.
Maryland and WVU are not the same. Tons of teams wanted Rakim Jarrett.
Yeah he’s nowhere near elite when it comes to Xs and Os but he draws in talent.They gave Ohio State all they wanted. Locksley is gonna upset OSU or UM at some point.
