I’ll be honest, it took everyone by surprise up here when he committed to Tennessee. We were hearing equally re-assuring things as Vol Nation was. He was extremely close with the staff, loved the culture, loved the city, etc. I wouldn’t surprise me at all if he ends up being a Buckeye. There’s few programs in the country who can compete with The Ohio State University. Indiana and Tennessee are two that cannot.

I’d love for you find out in the playoffs… on your own field.

OSU has:
-A football team that continuously chokes despite loads of talent and a favorable schedule.
-No men’s basketball team.
-No baseball team.
-A women’s basketball team that chokes in big moments just like the football team.

UT’s athletic department is head and shoulders above OSU despite having just over a third the enrollment. Also 1-0 all time in football. Would love to meet y’all in the playoff so we can make it 2-0.

I swear, every time I think my fondness for my wife’s grandparents and the folks at church can outweigh the pridefulness of the OSU football program, and that I might actually be able to bring myself to pull for the Bucks a little, some joker like @PeacefulBuck comes along and screws it up. Go Blue.

P.S. You say Ohio is beautiful. You must be privileged to live in NE or SE Ohio, because over here between Toledo and Dayton, it absolutely is pancake-flat and full of corn and soybeans, far as the eye can see. There’s the occasional lovely small river or small forest preserve, thank goodness, but it ain’t nothin’ like God’s country. I told a native Ohioan that I moved here from Colorado and they went “Why?”
