'25 NC OT David Sanders (Tennessee)

lol. Do you seriously think Heupel doesn’t talk to Sanders on a near daily basis? Jesus dude. You think Heupel and his staff just started recruiting last week? They have been doing it for years. Good grief.
Bob Meachem was the only recruit I can recall that said in a paraphrase to Tennessee after he committed “don’t call me anymore, I’m coming”

I’m guessing there isn’t a lot of news on Sanders since the majority of recent replies are either pointless arguing or talking about everybody else on the OL.
I listened to the VQ podcast earlier. It basically said it comes down to whether or not he goes back to watch OSU/UM. If he doesn’t it more than likely means he is all Vol. If he takes the visit then its OSU.

Read the posts that came before my responsive post before you post nonsense. Others were implying that Heupel was too busy with Vandy game prep to bother with calling his heralded OT. Read more before you post.

Calls have been made through back channels and, rest assured, Coach Heupel has been put on notice that an explanation by him is owed guy on message board monikered patrick. I can further report that Coach is extremely nervous about providing said explanation.

I’ll report more as more information becomes available.

I never said he wasn’t checking in or calling the heralded OT. Others in this thread implied that Heupel was too busy with Vandy game prep to check in on the best recruit in this class. If you had bothered to read the posts which preceded my posts you wouldn’t have even felt the need to try to educate me.

I’m keenly aware that recruiting and NIL are a never ending job for coaches. And if it isn’t then they won’t last very long.

Petty has team mates at Tech and wants to play there and as a tackle which we see him as a guard. Heard was our highest graded OL against Miss State

1 game out of 11. Wow.

I know J Petty and his family. My daughter goes to school with him. And actually one of Petty’s main connections to Tech is his former head coach from Fellowship Christian School, Tim McFarlin (Coach Mack), is the Director of High School Football Relations for Tech. Petty’s Dad is a full-on Tennessee fan.

Oh and TN needs more than one tackle/guard etc given the lack of depth and development in the oline.
