'19 NC RB Quavaris Crouch (Tennessee signee)

I'm certainly rooting for him. Especially the story with his mother and all.
Did he red-shirt? I hope so.

Yeah he just needs more coaching. Very athletic dude that seems coach-able.
I thought he was 6'6 250?
He had already redshirted at his former college.

Saw this on Crouch’s instagram
A for effort I guess, on that list.

But he has Kirkland and D Taylor as interchangeable??
Also Buchannan will not be starting next year. No way in "heck" Burrell is 3rd team. Or Harrison 4th team.
Soloman is not a given to be able to play 2019. Butler 3rd team behind Mincey??
Pruitt has show that he will play the best guy.

He started a true freshman at safety 1st game. He started two true freshman at CB almost all-year.

Our best 5 DBs are
Thompson
Warrior
Taylor
Flowers
Jackson in that order. But Burrell and McCullogh are starting material as it stands on our roster.

Fall 2019 our best DB's
- Thompson
- Warrior
- Taylor
- Burrell
- Flowers/ McCullogh

Here is what I would do.
CB Taylor
CB Burrell
SS Warrior
FS Thompson (Flowers in Nickel)
NB Thompson

Burrell was top 3 on our board this whole recruiting cycle. Above people like Washington/ Hampton or Bush.
I absolutely think he will start which will free up Thompson to roam and create havoc. Or Taylor could do this as well.
A lot of flexibility now...

It seems that a lot of you had forgotten about JJ. He has a full season to learn the system and work on strength and condition. He should be a factor next Fall.

I haven't.
But he's an ILB not outside.
He got to red-shirt! Which was awesome. I expect him to play all special teams, and run with Ignot in 2020. He'll get over 100 snaps on defense next year too imo

I haven’t forgot about him. Just question whether or not he’s got the work ethic to crack the starting lineup. No inside info. JMO based on classroom struggles and coming in out of shape.

Certainly possible.
Him and Harrison both should play a lot.

D Johnson has been a pretry good player since he stepped on campus. Not a star, but a good young budding player.

D Johnson 6'3" 250
D Taylor 6'4" 250
Q Crouch 6'3 235
R Harrison 6'2" 245

I like this rotation...

D Johnson has not rec'd the recognition he should have for his play this year. Just go back and review video. This kid had some quicks and was in the opposing sides backfield. The kid probably going to shock a lot of people in 2019 play after going through another year of S & C...I thought his play was stellar at times.

There were times in the late 90’s-early 2000s that I actually felt sorry/worried about
the other teams QB. We had LB’s who could lay the lumber on you!!

Damn stealing a heavy Clemson lean is impressive I must admit

Kid must of been really good healthy cuz usually guys with his injuries get knocked down a few pegs

Or at least I read he didn’t play this year and missed a good bit of time as junior too

As the number 1 player in the country?
Yeah, guess they considered him pretty good.

How long ago?

I don’t follow this recruiting stuff all year I wait for the entertainment

Also shavar manuel was 1 too signed with FSU ended up something like 200 in the end

Just saying injury history in hs is def red flag to the guys that do the rankings

It’s only gonna get more violent in the sec

All I’m saying

He was #1 by Rivals in the summer then dropped when he sat out basically the whole year with injury, main reason he’s playing defense and not offense in college.

Up until his injury to start the season this year. My understanding is he's completely healthy and the last few games were precautionary. Wanted to make an immediate impact in college instead of trying to regain his ranking.
