Baylor beat Vandy and Ok St beat Mizzou.
One reason b12 defenses appear so bad is they play some of the best offenses around.
But most of them also don't recruit well, minus ou and texas. Theres not really a way to scheme over a lack of talent on D, though tcu, vandy, northwestern, and miami under Diaz have been doing it to some degree.

It was said that he was really stopping the run. On this play, even though the Bama player gets the credit, you can see Crouch come flying in from the LB spot to be in on this tackle. Guy is very, very fast.

Yeah, Pruitt has said they really want to add guys who are "4-for-4 linebackers" when they can. They viewed Peterson as one of those types of LBs, and I think Crouch could be that way too. You didn't have very many (if any) of those guys on the roster this year.
