'19 NC RB Quavaris Crouch (Tennessee signee)

" I can tackle anybody out here, shoot.."

He is gonna be a beast LB

And he mentioned WANTING to run the ball some. We got so blessed to get this kid

Edit... 237lbs is SEC ready RIGHT NOW at ILB... i bet he plays at 245...unless he grows too fast, then he will be 265 OLB/DE with 5 star RB quickness...he is gonna be a baller. I would bet freshman ALL SEC team if he stays healthy. Huge

EVERYONE should watch this. What an awesome young man. I was grinning the whole time and laughing several times. No matter what Q does: RB, LB, friend, leader, mentor, weight room, classroom etc. he's gonna do it with excellence and purpose.
Love the Al Wilson comment. Kid knows what #27 means.

Reminds me of the qb of my high school team. Dude was huge and a grown man but his body just couldn't keep up with what he continually asked it to do. Always had nagging injuries and was taped up and wore more ace bandages than the mummy.

Talked with Crouch's longtime mentor and former coach...

Here's a snippet of what Sam Griner had to say about Crouch's decision to sign with Tennessee...

"Instead of being a part of a program that’s been there, done that, the guys that start the program that make the turn — even when Alabama wasn’t great it was the Julio Jones’ that made it great — so when they come back they are remembered for making it great and what it is now.

That resonated with Q. He believes that this group that’s coming to Tennessee is going to be one you remember forever. They’re going to make something special.

... You have to be able to believe in what you can’t see. There’s no proof in it right now that they’re going to be good. You have to believe in it. It’s a feeling you have to have. That’s what he saw in that last visit. That relief became a reality. This is where I want to be.

That’s hard to do for a lot of kids, but Q is very, very (keen) on critical thinking. He has an ability to think deeper than now. That sucker was playing chess, not checkers. He was thinking moves down the road and that’s what was important."

I mean, Marcus Mariota didn't play the final game of the season, with the season on the line because of a stinger. I cant blame QC for not practicing. I think he will be fine when he gets to us. It's a game of no meaning and he is having a good time out there. If he plays, good for him, if he doesn't that just means more time for him to allow his body to heal up for us, next year.
