I hope he wears the Al Wilson #27. If it's retired then I hope Al let's them bring it out of retirement.

Not being an ass. Why not just let 27 be retired? That's a lot of expectation for a college kid. Let him carve his own path.

It would be noice to see a #27 helmet decal or some ****.

Uhm, because QC wore 27 in high school would be one reason.

My bad. I know this is fb recruiting forum but i dont actually keep up with HS football much. granted i did go see MHS/Oakland State Semi two years ago, and, SHHS play last year. It was to see the band play. The game was really boring. MHS was a lot of fun.

Crouch wore 27 in high school and will be playing LB.

27 shoudnt be retired anyway. Derek Barnett had a more impressive college career than Al, but you won't see his number retired.

Then there's ole Arian Foster who might declare he doesn't want "his" number retired anyway

Tennessee hasn't retired any numbers except for former Vols who died in WW2. They have "retired a jersey" like they did for Peyton and Reggie, but the numbers stay in use. I believe that is still the policy.

Not long ago pics came out on twitter of grant and Schofield when they came to UT compared to now.. after hearing about Maurer already being up 11 pounds, and I think a couple others mentioned, and seeing this picture of crouch, I think it’d be interesting to see some of the differences between offseason/now for the older players or between January/now for the EE’s
