I don't think he's saying it hurt us... he's just saying we've lost ground on Crouch to the point he doesn't see yesterday mattering. Why would beating a ranked SEC West opponent, and periannual recruiting trail nemesis hurt us?
I'm a big fan of either side of the ball
Yeah. I’d love to sign him, but the whole time he’s here I’ll be worried about the next injury. And we saw how time off in HS really helped Khalil.Super athlete... That's spent a good portion of the last, what, 18 months rehabbing? And is injured again?
No matter where he goes, it will have been almost 2 years since he's played meaningful football...
I get what you guys are saying; but, the same was being said about J Hurd. He went out his first game of Sr yr, missed the rest of season, and he was good to go. Maybe the time off has helped Crouch heal fully, especially that hip.Yeah. I’d love to sign him, but the whole time he’s here I’ll be worried about the next injury. yep. and while i'd still take him, i would certainly understand if we shelved him for at least a year to get his body ready for the future. i wouldn't expect him to be an immediate contributor, though i'm sure we're selling playing time.Yeah. I’m thinking redshirt with the right S&C program would be the right thing for him.yep. and while i'd still take him, i would certainly understand if we shelved him for at least a year to get his body ready for the future. i wouldn't expect him to be an immediate contributor, though i'm sure we're selling playing time.

i don't get that impression. i think he's fully aware of the toll football takes on the body...but i don't get the idea that he's gonna shy away from anything.I may be totally wrong here, but it seems to me he may be saving himself (injury wise) for college. Then when he's in college, will he be saving himself for the $$$ of the NFL?
Anybody remember Bryce Brown?

i mean, at some point, if you're going to be that type of player, you actually have to have some production to get there.
i do think he wants to be in as good a shape as possible headed to college. no one wants their identity to be "injury prone".
