'19 NC RB Quavaris Crouch (Tennessee signee)

You’re getting blowback because i post screenshots of QC’s Instagram story and had a daily update of JJP’s Snapchat that were implying good things about those players and UT. This situation, as others have stated, is nothing like ITS or Griffin last year since QC has liked us for the past year.

It’s just hard to take anything they post on those social media outlets because players like Bogle and QC have also been seen rocking gear from other schools. That being said, it sounds like you trust your guy and you haven’t said anything that would make us not trust you otherwise (yet 😉). Fingers crossed!

That’s not what I did. Didn’t even know it was on his Snapchat. I dont Use Snapchat. You don’t have to believe me. Got this info from someone who really knows there stuff, would’ve never posted it if it wasn’t from him.
Dude, he's been in Vol gear numerous times. QC don't even know yet

So they lied, or he lied. Or he changed his mind at the last minute. Doesn't count until they sign.
if i remember right, the word was both OG and ITS at one point gave the impression they were going to come here. and then decided not to really late in the process. distance i think wound up being a big issue since the relationships weren't necesssarily "there" given the time frame. it sucked, but hard to say that was really anyone's fault. i put it in "victim of circumstance" category.

Just stick to your info if you are confident in it and if it comes true RF will issue your part time credit pass. You only get full time when you come with creditable info on several recruits. :p And if your right you get to come back say " I told you so"

Only way we get QC is if we go 7-5 imo. He doesn’t want to be part of a rebuild process
i loved the article about his visit. gives me some hope.

but in the end, i think even if we finish 7-5, he's still looking at a Clemson or Michigan team that's playoff ready now. that's apparently really important to him, and at the end of the day, that's a box we can't check.

The funny thing is if you go back and read early in this thread, he was quoted in the spring saying that he wanted to be apart of building back a program that had fallen off (like UT). He transferred to a school that was winless before he got there and he was the reason they won like 12 the next year and a championship I believe. And he liked the idea of doing that in college, bringing back a program that had fallen off.

Recruiting is a wild ride.

My only concern with Clemson is how Dabo uses his “faith” in recruiting. So hearing how much emphasis QC places religion in his life, coupled with how good Clemson is as a program (unfortunately), I think he ends up there.

Fortunately, we’re going to get some grown ass men this class (Henry, Pappoe, etc) so him going elsewhere wouldn’t necessarily be a crippling blow. Would be a hell of a get though.

it is. and there's really no telling what the story really is right now. he's been mostly quiet about his recruitment.

i think the injuries he had wiht the hip, rehabbing all summer, and then getting injured so early his sr. year...it's hard to imagine he still feels like might have back then. he's definitely been on record talking about what is and isn't wiling to do, to give up his body for.

i know he thinks highly of TN. i do believe we've given him PLENTY to think about. not sure what wins out in the end......plug and play for championship ready program or is what he apparently loves about TN going to wind up trumping that in the end?

to me this is one that will likely have us on the edge of our seats when he announces finally....i really don't have a feel for what he's going to do.

Dabo is like an annoyingly upbeat Mark Richt.

One of my friends actually plays for Clemson, I've actually sat next to Dabo one time in Church. His faith isn't just a show, if we have to lose Crouch to someone I'd much rather it be Clemson than Michigan and Harbaugh.

Not me. I'd rather he head north and play in the B1G if not UT. Screw Clemson and their run in that weak ass conference.

Crouch will be hard to sway (Clemson with the momentum). However, Crouch coach who visited the Vols with Crouch last week raved about Tenn and the coaching staff. He reminded Crouch why he was enamored with the Vols in the spring and the Vols did not disappoint when he visited for the Kentucky game. Michigan, Clemson and the Vols appear to be his top 3 at the moment. Vols aren't out of it.

That coach that came with him is no longer his coach(left for another program) just his mentor.
