If I owned a business I wouldn't automatically assume my employee was responsible. There are a lot of lawsuit whores out there who make a living out of suing people.

If I knew for a fact he did it I probably would but not for the reason he was. Whether they cover it or not I'm sure it's especially covered in mcdonalds handbooks. I'd also fire a kid for wearing his had sideways or pants hanging off his ass.
