A few notes from NCAA 2005:
Tennessee is an ok team, but not great. The front 7 is good, but the secondary will get you burnt, so watch it. And I had an easier time passing than running the ball (but I prefer to pass anyway). Receivers are good.
Just played a couple of games (Bama and UNLV), and it is a blast.
Instead of showing still highlights of the players from your favorite team at the main menu, they show the players and cheerleaders running at you.
The look on the field is different because they now simulate all of the shadows on the field. I had a hard time during the first game because it was late afternoon and going from a sunny side of the field to a shady side was a little disruptive.
They actually show the addidas logo on the uniforms this year.
Create a sign rocks.
Create a school is really no different
I used create a player to make Crompton (you can actually pick their hometown and state this time).
If a discipline problem occurs, you have to decide how to handle it, if at all.
They did a good job with the stats of the players this year.
For Example:
QBs - CJ is balanced, but kinda weak. Clausen is a better passer than CJ, but slower (I think they have him confused with Casey). Schaeffer is the fastest. Ainge (listed as #8) is the best passer of the group.
RBs - Yancey has good stats in this. Faster than Houston.
