Tim Corbin is a class act. Never trash talks other teams and just goes out and wins. Very hard to root against him. J Franklin could have benefitted from a lesson or ten from Corbin. Hope they take the championship tonite.

He may be Vandy, but got to give them credit where due. Even if they ultimately don't win, to go from a so so season to being in the finals in Omaha is an achievement by anyone's standards.

That and yes, he doesn't come off as the jerk that Franklin is.

They spent the majority of the season in the top 10, not exactly a so-so season. They weren't/aren't flashy and are a very avg team offensively. Just goes to show how important pitching is and what a good staff can do for you.

I don't want to see Vandy win in anything. Their "fans" are obnoxious and those of us in middle TN are inundated with it these days. They don't support them by showing up for any sport, but then run around town flapping their mouths and using talk radio for their platform.

Congratulations Vandy. Good for you.

Anyone feeling threatened by Vanderbilt should look inward until they realize the problem is not Vandy.
