Typical bamer. It wasn't that Bama was cheating it was that someone told on them. I guess the way you bamers think, Bama has a right to cheat.

Say what you want about Fulmer. Bama was Fulmer's *****.

Dude, get with the program...Bama not only has the right to cheat they also reserve the right to sue anyone who turns them in for cheating. I've never heard a Bama fan say that either Fulmer or recruiting analyst Tom Culpepper were lying to Richard Johanningmeier of the NCAA. I have also never heard a Bama fan deny that Logan Young paid $150,000 to Lynn Lang of Trezevant HS for Albert Means. Bama simply doesn't understand the concept of accountability. They live under such an umbrella of entitlement that it has bent their moral compass all to hell. Fulmer infringed upon this sense of entitlement and had subpoenas dropped in his lap for basically reporting the truth as it had been reported to him. A Bama fan did try to tell me once that Fulmer had cooperated with the NCAA because he was jealous of Alabama. Never mind, of course, that Fulmer's record vs Bama was 7-1-1 at the time they were placed on probation over the Lang/Kirk/Means scandal in 2002. So you see that facts are about as significant to an Alabama fan as accountability and integrity are. Even the Bama fans on this thread (curiously) seem to be arguing that Alabama's stretch of success and Tennessee's struggles are somehow justice for "that thing Fulmer did". Notice again, they don't deny that Lang took $150,000 from Young. The game means so much to them that their morals have long since taken a back seat to whatever is best for the team. Just pathetic.

Fulmer's streak ended so long ago that you can't even recall how many games it was.

That or some of us have a life and don't live vicariously through the accomplishments of other people because our parents bumped uglies in a particular geographical region. Assuming you are not one of those johnny come lately Bama gravy trainers.

I follow. You've got so many important things to deal with in your busy life, and don't really put much stake in your college football fandom (your presence on this forum notwithstanding, I'm sure), that you can't remember a single digit number. You must be the guy that carries around the nuclear codes.

Allow me to make this situation clear to everyone. If you ever have a question in the future, please refer back to this post:

We. Are. Bulletproof.

Next time, you best bring kryptonite.

That is what Joe Pa and Penn State thought...hubris is a biotch.

Plus I was implying the state is the equivalent to a 3rd world country and the inhabitants need some sort of hope to cling on to.

He's a UA alum and was there when UT hired him. I'm not sure what point you were trying to make, but it was probably dumb.

Bammer calling someone dumb.... That's good.

Your AD is a Vol so there, I'll stoop to your kindergarten level.

Battle played at Alabama under Bear Bryant. Apparently kindergarten level was way too advanced for you.

You have a point. Nick Saban has accomplished more in 6 years than Tennessee's football program has accomplished in over 60. We should start giving him more credit.

Yeah, too bad we couldn't find a coach that worked under the NCAA president so a blind eye could be turned toward a 'Bama $tyle of recruiting'. Again if I lived in Bama I would put all of my chips in the accomplishments of other people too.

Now, that's kind of harsh. I'm sure that people retire to the great state of Alabama all the time....from the witness protection program.
