Pretty sure no one is attacking Bruce for the money he raised for cancer. Good for him...sports aside, I'm glad he could use his charisma and high profile job to raise funds for such a terrible disease. That is seriously a great thing.

Still, there is a pretty good reason why the 'AA will come down harshly on him and this University if we keep him. There is no amount of money he can raise that is going to change that. Actions have consequences.

Agreed. That was more intended for the people that loath Pearl because of a lie. Lying doesn't make you a horrible person, and should not be grounds for hating someone. It wasn't right, and he's getting what he deserves. No reason to pile on.

I loathe him because he bold faced LIED to the fanbase. That tearful heartfelt press conference he held to proclaim his undying love for the UT brand, became nothing more than lip service and a lie after he KNOWINGLY broke rules 4 days later. If people want to proclaim a lie isn't that bad, fine, but don't sit here and try to convince me that Pearl has ever told us the truth about anything he has said, especially after that.
