I know.... They have to throw anyone under the bus to not take responsibility for their actions knowing they were wrong the entire time. (BTW,thanks to whoever did sofor merging my thread with the old one. I couldn't find it)
.
I merged it. Just to keep the conversations together.

You are so right about not taking responsibility. Such a bad look for them .

The NCAA is the worst thing to ever happen to a college athlete.

"It is unfortunate that UNC failed to provide this important information previously. While we must be careful not to compromise a student-athlete's right to privacy when it comes to sensitive issues, we want to assure the Division I membership and everyone watching how the new transfer rules are applied, that this meets the new transfer waiver standards. UNC's behavior and decision to wage a public relations campaign is inappropriate and outside the bounds of the process UNC's own staff supported. Had the UNC staff not behaved in this fashion and submitted this information weeks ago, this entire unfortunate episode could have been avoided."

Yeah, I'll take "NCAA actions that were full of **** for $1000", Alex.

Good job, Volly. Call them out, and nail their ass to the wall when they try to explain it away.

Go Vols.

They cost him half his season. And I really don't know why I'm so angry about it. But I am so disgusted by the NCAA right now.
I’m always angry when some individual Joe/Jo Blow trying to make their way in life gets crunched under the wheels of some corporate entity (for-profit, non-profit, government) trying to maintain some Big Statement that they’ve made, which was usually in their own self-interest.

I never get this when people call out the NCAA.

In this case this is the inmates running the asylum. Most people though fail to put the blame where it should be because the member institutions own the asylum and the inmates running it are paid employees who are “paid“ by the schools via the fees racked in by the NCAA(schools) by allowing those inmates to have their jobs.

The member institutions can fix this if they wanted to….
