Down 1 take it to the hoop. The chance you get fouled is better odds than the odds you make that jumper

Oregon losing control of the game. Badgers are white-hot so far, but we all know that if any team can go cold...

I like how this bracket is shaping up for my Jayhawks. Sans a complete letdown (which, with this inconsistent team is quite possible), we should be looking at a rematch with Florida next weekend.

Did you go to KU?

Does your ungrad school have a decent ball program?

Army's program is terrible. I cheer for both KU and UT basketball, and I cheer for UT football. Parents, plus 10 aunts/uncles are UT grads. First UT game I attended was the 1982 Bama game. Parents took me as a tot. Probably went to one game every other year growing up, and a few KU games at Allen every year.

Who has your rooting interest when it comes to Kansas-Tennessee affairs?

You went to USMA? I've been to some Army-Navy games at Christl arena. I like that place

This will be my first time in Allen Fieldhouse without wearing Crimson and Blue. I will be decked out in orange and, hopefully, singing "Rocky Top" early and often.

As a lifelong fan of both schools, this game should be fun, regardless of outcome. KU and UT are both extremely talented, yet both still lack experience. Both KU and UT have had tough breaks against both good and bad teams this year (UT-Gonzaga, KU-Syracuse/Zona / UT-Temple, KU-UMass). This game will be a good prep heading into what could be tough early conference play, yet both teams could very much win their respective conferences.

If anyone from TN is heading out this weekend, you should have a good time in Lawrence and in Kansas City. The weather has been unseasonably warm, also (broke 60 two of the past 3 days). If you are bringing a wife, fiance, girlfriend, or some strange with you, take them out to dinner on The Plaza in Kansas City. They will be impressed.

There is actually a thread about this, from the Tennessee-Kansas basketball games a few years ago. I'll find it.

Found it.
