I did not like the pinch hitter move...don't think Karen did either.

Yeah hard to understand. McSwain with a lower batting avg-lower OBP-not as much speed and WAY more likely to strike out. Plus a runner was on 3rd so we didn't need power, just something to reach on and Holcomb had already had a hit against this pitcher today. Head scratcher

Geer just....just...what the hell? She gets a belt-high fast-ball right down the center of the plate--perfect hitter's pitch, and she could do nothing but foul it off. Two pitches later she watches a knee-high, center of the plate fastball go by for a called strike three. Obvious strike. The way she is playing, she should be hitting 9th. She couldn't hit a beach ball right now.
