No our hitting has left town for this season. We depend so much on Gregg, Vines and Geer noting from the bottom of the order. When they can't make it happen we lose.

You can't expect 2-3 players to carry a team offensively. Even if Vines and Geer could tie it, we have no batters behind them.

That ump should lose his job today. To make a call like that, against clear evidence, in a game of this magnitude is ridiculous.

Rowland strikes out with the bases loaded. Are you kidding? For chrissake kid, at least put the ball in play. The bottom of our order went from weak to b-a-d. Geer is lost, Lockman can't hit, Seggern seems to have hit the wall--has been slumping for weeks, McSwain hits sky-high outs. We've got four spots that have become a black hole.

This is like the SECT where LSU players left base two steps early the entire game until the umps finally started calling it when the game was almost over. It's hard enough to win without the umps spotting the other team unearned runs.

I usual refrain from b*t*hin* about umpires but this crew with the exception of the 1st base ump, is the worst I have ever seen outside of high school softball. The guy calling balls and strikes is all over the place and his call on the runner at home was beyond belief. WTF is up with having idiots like these officiating a playoff game? This absolutely SUCKS! :banghead2::banghead2::banghead2::banghead2:

Even with this terrible crew our hitting is the reason were going down. A team that was really hitting the three quarters of the season has disappeared. Lockman was hitting .310 and now .229. Seggern .304 now .259 and Geer .340 is around .300

Karen was hot. If I we're her I would have gone for the toss on the second botched call. Not sure if that gets you a next game suspension in next game though.

I wish Karen would go off in the media about this. Our postseason is cooked so why shouldn't she call attention to it so the NCAA will demand better officiating in games where the stakes are so high.
