NCAA Tournament Game Thread: (3) Lady Vols vs. (6) Michigan

Again, didn’t watch, but Burrell with 6 turnovers killed us. She got a pass from fans all season on the turnovers because she improved her offense so much. 5 turns again MTSU and 6 against Michigan was not a good look for her in the NCAA tournament though. She has to improve that next season.

They all do. I’m tired of having to talk about turnovers. The players have to decide individually they are going to turn it over less. Our posts not catching their passes is not a good excuse so don’t start with that. If you have a post that can’t catch a tough pass, don’t throw it. That’s the PGs job to know who can handle what, when and where.

Lady Vol classes should look like Kentucky/Duke men’s classes

You have to have the coaching receipts to recruit like Duke or Kentucky in the men's game. Tennessee doesn't have those as of today. Maybe some day. I don't know.

I will edit this post since apparently it pissed some off. I have nothing against Coach Harper. She has brought new energy to this team that we desperately need. My comment was directed more to the Warlick era and those wasted seasons. However, I stand by comment that she needed much more help than what she had. I just hate that the bad game she had today which was her last game is what will stand out to some.

We don’t have a PG to break down the defense and create shots for others. So our solution is the have Burrell and Davis, two wing players try to create. It leads to a lot of turnovers. And neither were good in the tournament.
