Wow!! I literally wish I could come to your house and fix you a cocktail. You weren’t asking me, but the reason I’m nervous is the same reason I’m nervous EVERY season for the NCAAT. I spend the entire time from the previous season’s final game anxiously waiting for the next season. Then I’m excited for the news of how pre-season practices are going., And then I’m beside myself when the first exhibition game day arrives. Then the exciting out-of-conference portion of the schedule gives me hope for post-season. And then the SEC slate gives me hope and fear AND sadness that another season is quickly passing. By the time the NCAAT gets here there are SOOOO many hopes and dreams and memories and emotions that can, and all but only 8 times ever for me, end brutally abruptly. It’s the looming fear of the anti-climactic ending after a full year of anticipation that makes me nervous. I hate it that I feel that way and wish I didn’t,
Evidently the behavior of Cotie after the game went trending on Twitter? lol
I saw someone say that she was cursing out her own coaching staff... good lord. She has a reputation, so I don't know if the person was just spewing nonsense or what, but sheesh. Glad her season is over. Goodbye!
you sound like you handled this with decorum. I went through these same stages sounding like a lunatic with intense rapid mood swings. My dogs kept coming up to me giving me WTF looks. I took them on a nice walk afterwards while I enjoyed the postgame show.My emotions in this game went from thinking that :
The LV's would get runout of the arena in 1st quarter
To maybe they have a chance in 2nd quarter
To we have this sucker in the bag when LV's went up by 17points in 3rd quarter
To they are going to screw around and lose this game in last minutes of 3rd quarter when OSU made huge comeback
To we are going to win this sucker with about 3 minutes left in the game and 10 point lead
To exhilaration when the horn went off signaling the end of the game.
I can't speak for everyone but i think your coach speak isn't going well. Probably should try as a fan for awhile and see how that goes.a 19-2 run and no working the official,,instead standing there with her hands on her hips in a mad-mommy pose...I post as a coach first and a fan second....get over it
Different game yes but vertical you have or you don't. Also hand eye coordination must be good because if not spiked ball is smashing your face.hope so...different mechanics in vb v BB
vxall you jump off of two feet to attack the ball,,,in BB you jump off of one foot on a driving attack,,,you only jump off of two feet when within 2-4 feet of the backboard
I wonder if she will transfer out![]()
I've disagreed with you on this before. Bruce Pearl stays hard on the refs and oftentimes it comes back to bite him. Kim is in constant conversation with the refs. She's building reputation with them without humiliating them. It may not pay off each game, but WILL pay off eventually and regularly.you won't get one
I am not asking for Kim to get T'd up, but I am going to stay on this focus until I see her stand up to refs,,,It is a part of coaching that is missing from her and if I am the only one to see it,,,then I AM the only one to see it and can live with that
the refs fueled the opening qtr 8 fouls to 2 and the third as well...She simply has to stand up to them
I agree but I believe the LVs will not be satisfied with the Sweet 16. I see the Final Four coming around the bend. GBO.I am so proud of the Lady Vols. They refused to give up or give in. Their play was outstanding. If the Sweet 16 is as far as they go I am still proud of them. However, this team has its second wind, so whose next had better watch out because here comes the Lady Vols!!
