The 12 seeds would be 3-0 if NC State could have hit some free throws in the 2nd half and I think Stephen F. Austin knocks off VCU tom night. I tell you taking a 12 over a 5 is MONEY in this tournament.

I picked 3 12 seeds. VCU is the only 5 I picked. As I said, ****ing NC STATE. If I were a State fan I would jump off of the PNC Arena. Such a sad lot they are.

Only upset remaining is New Mexico State. Could use it, but not urgent b/c I think NDSU gets whoever wins this next round anyway

Really had thought Texas teetered off there near the season's end; wasn't expecting terribly much from them in tonight's game.

Agreed re: surprisingly good performance by Texas. Was worried about that one. 10 seeds will be shutout barring an ASU comeback/Stanford win tomorrow.

Longhorns' youth is showing. They've started leaving open a bunch of 3s in a row. Lead's almost gone.

Looked like ASU was going to hit yet another 3 (possibly a game decider this late) and it missed (for the first time in forever)


All of Texas's 5 have 4 fouls.

Smart play by Zona on their last score before the foul. They've been burning them with the 3 so much that they passed it around, setting up about 3-4 looks for 3s amongst 3-4 players, and then went inside.

They're really catching Texas in a lot of bad looks when they're shooting their threes. Is that a youth-factor thing?
