OU with 22 pts in the first half. Now that's some serious defense. OU can certainly still win, but if UVA comes out and maintains their effort defensively, I don't think OU can take 'em. What kills me is that we have the ability to play great defense, but we only get it in spurts. It's maddening when you consider that defense is the one thing we have complete control over. No idea why we don't hang our hats on it.

With the exception of Auburn we're likely ending up with a straight chalk Sweet 16.

But how many teams will have a guy like Dawkins who was so locked in? And how many teams have a guy like Tacko? He made plays that no one else in the country will make. He didn't put up crazy numbers but just his presence is a game changer that not many big men can offer. Duke looked rattled with him inside. He handled his own pretty well against Zion multiple times at the rim (outside the final Zion basket).

There is a place for Tacko in the NBA... just needs to move his feet a little more.

Fair points. Idk what the +/- was, but seemed like they did OK the 15 minutes without Tacko. Duke is going to run into better teams, even if they don't have Dawkins or TF.

Virginia is playing some great basketball. Defense is superb. So unselfish offensively and they don't settle. They value every possession. Great ball movement. I'm a fan.

The game wasnt badly called overall. Refs got some tight calls correct. Just the last minute where I thought they were wrong. Four no calls.

Dawkins getting hit on a shot.
Zion charge.
Barrett push in back.
Taylor bumped on the driving attempt.

But all that being said UCF should have won besides all that. Dawkins missed an easy wide open putback, harder than most of the shots he made all day.

There were definitely calls that were missed on both sides. No doubt.

However, I guarantee the majority of people on here (not referring to you) saying Duke gets all calls totally thought the blocked three by Turner today was not a foul (it wasn’t) and almost the same identical play made by Reddish fouling on the 3 was a foul. I don’t care if people hate Duke, actually I embrace it, especially after days like today, but be consistent.

I actually thought that neither were fouls, but both were called fouls. At least that was consistent, even if wrong. Lol.

I agree neither were fouls. They were almost the same play. The foul against Turner and how it unfolded was even more bizarre and egregious.
