Why would I ask fans of other schools what they think about officiating when their teams play UK? They are about as objective as anyone here.

UK got screened on +/- 4 block/charge calls tonight

I see Self slowing the game down and playing zone. If UK is dead from the outside, then it will be a long game. If KS keeps it close, then the Ft's come in. I hope I'm all wrong and it's a cake walk.

If I were Self I'd go to a zone for sure – domes are hard to shoot in and UK had a sub 30% 3PT FG in their first FF game – UK needs to stay within themselves, work hard for good shots and maybe gear down the D so they don’t give up so many offensive rebounds. UofL got 19 (?) offensive rebounds – that cannot happen against KU. Cal is a good coach and he’s got a talented team, I hope they’re able to be focused enough to let the talent take over and put this game away. I do hope they get to the foul line a lot, get their bigs in foul trouble.

The only way Cal is on the hot seat is if he cheats to bring in guys...but honestly why would he? Too much to lose - UK is easier now than ever to get talent. He will continue to pick his guys and dominate until the fans drive him out of town by being too crazy (4 years tops)

Most wins in a season ever for UK? I don't think so, no. Most rational fans would be very disappointed, but no sane person would want to fire Cal over losing tonight.

I didn't say fire him tonight if they lost. But if he doesn't bring home a NC soon, how long does he get?

IMO he'd jet before getting canned. He can land many jobs in college, and a few in the NBA, if he stars hearing any rumblings hell leave dodge real quick IMO.

But...to answer your question id say if he didn't win this year or next yod start hearing rumblings. If he missed again in 2014 he may be out the door. So thatd be 5 years at UK with no ship????
