Kim Caldwell is the type of person that would want the ladies to shine and her and the coaching staff are behind the camera. She is isnt like TCU HC and the other head coaches that have to be the center of attention and in the middle... Like Coach YO at the Sip

I actually said this exact same thing. Molly Miller, Mulkey, and Yo almost all in a row in the front row, dead center. It isn't about you. It's about the players.

Glad u said it. It's getting old! What if they don't pan out? I hope they do though. But
not all high recruits excel in college! Look at the 2024 top 100 class and see how many of them were highly successful as freshman and made noticeable contributions.

NIL wasn’t a factor in her first 18 years of mediocre career but somehow the final two years hindered her. Fans have to stop believing somehow throwing money at kids was going to make her a better coach. NIL is the built in excuse that fans want to believe, if we are discussing old acts.

I agree. Which LV team will show up is an unknown, for sure. If both teams play the best game each has played all season, who wins? I'm always intrigued by that question and the many variables that might determine the winner in what surely would be a very tight game.

Ohio State played one ranked team, Illinois, in November and December and won by 9 at home. Only won by 4 at Belmont and began January ranked 10. In January they beat a 25th ranked Michigan team,and number 8 ranked Maryland team while
Losing to Penn State team that ended the season 10-19. In February, OSU lost to USC, UCLA, Indiana while beating 23 Michigan State at home. They ended the month ranked 12. In March they lost to ranked Maryland squeaked by Iowa and got blown away by UCLA.

Ohio State does not have a major win. They have some not good losses. Some very close games they won against not that impressive teams. Tennessee should approach this with confidence. I think they have a shot.

Our sources who usually know their stuff have said repeatedly both came for significantly less than they could have gotten elsewhere. Rickea already had outside NIL deals bringing in $ so for her it was more about finally finding a fit plus making sure her obvious pro prospects were fulfilled. Word is emergency scramble mode went on to get the amount she did get both tmes.

For Jewel it was about a bigger stage and a better conference and she flat out loved it, committed on her visit.

Very important when discussing the upfront payment (which isn't technically NIL) is that both players were free to take less bc neither were from family situations where the money was vital to the family's survival. Other players aren't as lucky and we should remember that when dogging them for chasing the buck.

Also, has been said lo these many times that it was high school recruiting, not proven portal players, where previous staff struggled getting donors to pony up. Whch explains why they did well in the portal but failed miserably w hs recruits.

You missed the point, not entirely surprising. Nobody knows the amounts of any NIL deal, therefore speculative talk on fan forums about NIL deals is just that, speculation. But then, hotheads like you aren't interested in understanding any subtle points being made, just as long as you can use your keyboard to show everyone what a tough guy you are. Carry on, and stay vigilant, you don't want to miss your next opportunity to be your usual keyboard warrior self.

You’ve asked numerous times and as you stated nobody knows. A few posters here have spun it to make NIL or lack of the reason for the missing on recruits in the past while discrediting the inability to close prior to NIL. Now, the other side of it is unless a company advertises the amount. Nobody should know how much a kid makes in NIL.
