As sad as i am to admit it, Kentucky is absolutely loaded. This could be the most impressive uk team ever. and wow the maui is even more stacked than i thought. Pastner will earn his paycheck against Michigan and we'll see if that preseason ranking holds true. Tennessee is in for a world of hurt. The schedule is about as tough as you can get. And how on gods green earth does espn put our schedule behind kentucky's or Florida??? You can put north carolina and ohio st on there twice and still not touch that schedule. It's brutal

Kentucky is loaded, but it will be fun watching Lexington from afar when the season has come to a conclusion and Calipari has finished yet another season without a national championship. The guy could be the first coach to be in hot water with the fanbase after reaching the Final Four for the 2nd consecutive season.

He could also win the title. He has the best team in this.

The Maui is going to be absolutely crazy.

I'm not sold on Memphis being a top 10 team yet, but the potential is definitely there. Belmont could be a sneaky trap game for Pastner, but he's finally got enough bodies and enough talent to run and gun for 40 minutes like he's always wanted to do. Memphis will be more athletic and more conditioned than anyone they face in the regular season. We'll see if the coaching and discipline have kept pace.

+1. Maui will be fun to watch.

This is Cal's best chance to win a championship. He doesn't get it here, he never will. UK is absolutely loaded.

He never will? UNC is loaded, too. Its not a given that they'll win with everyone from UNC returning. As for never winning; UK is loaded every season, so loaded that even in a "bad" season (last year), they still make the final four and come within ONE shot of winning it all. He has a shot at winning it every season.

But this is arguably his best shot. He's got the mix. I didn't literally mean "never will". Just meant if he can't win it this year or at least get there then it'll look really bad for him.

I think this just might be the year, but alot of folks are saying it's UNC. year but I tend to lean with coach Cal's team myself.

Starting 5 for both teams is a wash talent wise. They are more experienced, I think UK is a deeper team. They certainly play bigger down low with a 7 footer and Henson, who is 6"10 but plays like a 7 as well. We play bigger on the wings, probably a quicker squad as well. UK will shoot it very well behind the arc again this season.

Personally, I would like to see their game at the end of the season, not beginning. But chances are they meet again in the tourney anyway, and I'm not sure which way I'm gonna lean.

UNC has a pretty deep bench as well, IMO. Even with the injury to McDonald

Oh yeah, they can rotate 8 or 9 like UK can. The only difference IMO, is that UK's depth is slightly more talented and versatile, though obviously not by much. Foul trouble shouldn't plague this team too much, other than at the point position.
