Yes they did with Forest Whitaker. CM "Suspect Behavior".

It was pretty bad. Criminal Minds isn't a platform you could really spin-off from because it is it's own unique show. The crimes and story lines are so creepy that it shouldn't have been attempted.

Maybe they'll let him ditch the fake New Orleans accent between the backdoor pilot and the official pilot. Let's hope they also give them a decent office space and not that crap shack they had with two laptops sitting in it.

Solid first episode! They have tinkered with Bakula's accent and its not as noticeable. Then again some (yanks) probably think that Lucas Black's is fake as well.

It was a solid episode. You're right, Bakula's accent has been way toned down. Smart move by the producers. Lucas Black's accent is straight from Alabama where he's from but you're right someone will probably think it's fake.
