according to a post on nd's rival's site they voted to not go to a bowl game. can't imagine why this team lost so many games. . .

Didn't realize they had that much power over the staff and school. No wonder they have issues.

Notre Dame used to be a perennial power. Unless they get their head out of their ass and join a conference, they will more than likely continue their steady downward spiral.
Yeah I agree. They used to be able to get away with it because they were ND. But now even Navy schedules them to get that guaranteed win.

This has been the assumption since he put Tennessee on hold last year when it looked as if the ND job could open up. It's no secret ND is the job he really wants, and it's also no secret ND wants him. I agree that "when" is the only question left.

They definitely went to a bowl game the year TW was fired. These kids are acting like babies at this point. The new coach is definitely going to have to trim some fat at ND.

It was '96 when Holtz resigned that they turned down a bowl invitation.

LOL @ Lou Holtz. Predicting undefeated season and BCS Champs.

ND, Big 10, and Pac 10, won't even sniff the championship. All this without a conference championship game. Serves them right. If the SEC had gone that route UF and AL would be playing for number one.
