I guarantee I won't.

Still doesn't matter. Medicare and SS are not welfare programs. One pays into the system.

What are you defining as "earned"?

Every dollar more you get back than you paid in is welfare.

You may not get yours back, since it is essentially a Ponzi scheme, and as such, will inevitably fail.

Earnings are profits returned from money invested. How do you define it?

Idiotic governmental policy isn't the fault of those who paid in for life. It's hard to view that as the type of freeloading bullshiz that the other programs represent.

Actually, since the people in office were elected by majorities, it really is the fault of the majority of people. Basically, they said, I want my representatives to make sure they propagate a system that will reward me for paying less than I will get back and as long as it stays around long enough for me to get mine I don't feel the need to reform it. We can't live in a representative form of government and be unwilling to take the blame when our elected officials do things and we don't vote them out. (we as a whole, not that individuals don't vote against 'em, just that enough of us don't)

Whatever you paid in you should get back and not a penny more, that is not a entitlement.
