With both Bama and the Gators being on the road this year, the more "competitive" games, USCe, TA&M, GA, are going to be expensive; add to that we're REALLY good for the first time in a LONG time and any game against a relatively good team is going to make ticket prices high. Of course Brandon didn't help much either! lol

For UGA, Tennessee is the only opponent of any significant chance of beating them so they will probably travel to Knoxville more.

But then I heard there will be free hot dogs at halftime for the SCAR game so who knows.

Tennessee students set a record Thursday by requesting more tickets than ever before for a Vols football game. More than 18,000 students requested tickets for the Tennessee-Austin Peay game, 6,500 more than the student section will even fit.

I grabbed some Bama game tickets last season for around 200 a piece at the beginning of the season. One of the best investments I’ve ever made

I do not think any ticket will be harder to get than UGA but its 100% fluid. If UT beats UF and remains undefeated up until USC then it will be a tough ticket to get but if UT continues to remain undefeated even through the Bama game then UGA will be unbelievably expensive.

UGA being near the end of the year is dependent on so many things right now.

And agree Vandy tickets the week of Thanksgiving when no students are around is a real easy get.

No not always. In 1985 were on our way to an SEC Championship, we were closing out with the Vandy. We came up on Thursday night and began searching for A ticket for a friend but it turned out that this game would be the largest attendance of the year. There simply were no tickets to be had.

If somehow we're looking clinching the East this year with a W over Vandy those tickets could be the hardest get of the year.

My friend did get in. . .that morning he bought a blue nylon Tennessee jacket at the Book Store then waited on the Pride to march by, he fell in with them pretending to be crowd control and walked in with them. You do what you have to do sometimes. Not suggesting anyone try this.

Both. It will be a hard ticket because of last year. They might also lose to both miss st and uga. I think every Vol will want tickets to the beatdown. If you’re willing to sit in the visitor sections, I’d imagine those will become pretty attractive price-wise by game week.

I still think anyone’s best bet for affordable tix is to just hang out near the stadium on game day and look for someone trying to get rid of one. So long as you have reception for the transfer, there will be tickets available.

But yeah now that stuff is through Ticketmaster, resale tickets will never again be affordable online.

There will definitely be better matchups and more expensive tickets. However, even if SC is 0-5 going into Neyland, people will enjoy paying to see them slaughtered after last year. No one cares if we kill Austin Peay 65-0, but I think people will pay to see the same done to SC. Maybe I am petty, but I going to enjoy every minute of our victory this year.

Me too! I’m a season ticket holder, and the two games that I will be in Neyland for this year are South Carolina and Georgia! Texas A&M tickets sold for the most this year paid for one of my seats and the other games have paid for the other seat! Can’t wait for the beat down today and can’t wait to beat the crap out of South Carolina! And if we’re in beaten by the Georgia game, I sure can’t wait to beat them too!

You can get Notre Dame/NC State tickets for under $50…. Tells you how great it is to be a Tennessee VOL!
