What do you mean by this? What demographics should I be worried about? What would worry you?

I would do things like check crime statistics by neighborhoods or areas of town. Problematic renters that don't pay and tear up your home would be the demographic concern I was expressing. just do your homework.

Topside Rd. Louisville area. Homes are inexpensive. Convenient to Alcoa Hwy and Pellissippi Pkwy. It's convenient for both downtown and west Knoxville.

Heh, that's where I grew up (mimosa estates)... Nice quiet subdivisions there. Alcoa Highway can be a pain to drive, but it's much better than it used to be. Just pretend you are in a NaSCAR race and you'll do fine ;-).

These areas are great. They are a lot of good areas south of the river that are less expensive than other sections of Knoxville. And, still, easy access to everything. If you are going to a job, what is the location?

I'm going to be working in the Halls area.

I went with a realtor that works for a rental agency in Knoxville. They have a pretty good track record, so I am hoping the steer me away from these particular problems. Although tenants that screw your house up are in every demographic, there are definitely some more prone than others and I see your point. :hi:
