At this point, I don't even think we'd have gotten in by beating Alabama. Our fate was sealed prior to the SEC Tournament(outside of winning the tournament obviously).

Well said, and I love the first quote in bold. I agree on Golden as well, we relied way too much on him this year and did not have a legitimate backup PG, which doesn't look like will change next year. I wish we could get a decent PG and move Trae to the 2 where he belongs and have Jordan as sort of a point-forward.

Having Maymon back will make everyone better including Trae. Maymon can handle the ball a little and is a threat to drive against anyone big enough to guard him. Having more scoring threats will give Trae more options and will take the pressure off him. Not to mention what it will do for Jordan and Jarnell. Doesn't hurt to see how Richardson, Moore and Chievous progressed at times in the late season.

I don't think we will see too many teams leaving Maymon to double Jarnell in the post next year. At least not for long.
