Needing prayers.

She was at a rehab hospital, then had trouble with the PEG tube...they took her to the hospital, and she had MRSA and a UTI as well. They replaced her feeding tube on Thursday. When the infection clears, she'll go back to the rehab hospital.

I don't think she is processing anything right now.

Thanks for checking on her. It means a lot, really.

I've never seen anything like glioblastoma. Ever.

I am requesting prayers for my family. My step-dad fell taking a shower earlier today,and is currently in the ER having X-rays done. My mom thinks he broke his hip,and the way the docs are acting,so do they. He has a high tolerance for pain,and even it was too much for him to stand. The thing is he was supposed to go for a consultation to have the hip replacement in a couple of weeks. Now, they might be doing it early. Bless his heart, he's had a rough go of it the past 4 years.

Update on my step-dad...

Nothing was broken although everyone was hoping that his hip was for the simple fact that they could go ahead with the hip replacement. He's pretty roughed up from the fall and has severe arthritis. He's staying at the hospital until Sunday and then transferred to a rehab facility for a week or two.

A big setback as I know how much he was ready to get this hip replacement over with,but the rehab will get him on the path to recovery.

I’ll bet the rehab from the fall will help him recover more quickly when he does have the hip replacement!

Most of the time, when it’s possible, getting PT before a planned joint replacement makes recovery quicker, and often makes results better.

She has multiple blood clots on both sides of her brain. Not looking good. I only post here not to get attention but the more prayers the better.
