Needing prayers.

What is hurting him is his kidneys haven't been doing good because of diabetes and his eyes bleed and he has to have it burnt alot to keep what vision he has. And he is not supposed to take blood thinners but he has had to but so far eyes are good I just pray he can make it threw the surgery and maybe his heart was making his kidneys number lower and fix that.
Bless his heart, in my prayers

Update on father in law: When he got to ER last night his blood sugar was over 800. They quickly admitted him to ICU and this morning his level is in the 150’s. He got very lucky. Thanks for the prayers VN!
Last time I was at Vandy hospital for some appointments they sent me to the ER because my blood sugar was in the 700's. I hadn't been taking insulin like I should, or really even testing. That was several months back. Now I'm on 3 different kinds of insulin. One's a weekly dose, one's a daily dose, and one's at meal times. Testing my sugar all the time. Sometimes it'll bump up over 200, but I've been working to keep it under. Had one actual low blood sugar but I recognized what was happening and ate something to bump it up. Not considered low, but I've noticed when I drop into the 70's I start feeling really weak. Being diabetic sucks, and keeping your blood sugar under control is hard.

My Dad has been in open heart surgery for 2 hours they said he is doing good they had to take artery's from his leg and arm he has about 4 more hours prayers please.
Do NOT make him laugh when you get to see him in recovery. OR...or, do anything that'll make him sneeze. He won't be able to jack slap you now, but he will eventually. He'll be a little sore for a while.

My step- dad had quadruple bypass ten years ago. I still remember the big red heart pillow he had to squeeze onto whenever he coughed.

Still praying for all you guys.

Have you heard of them harvesting artery's from the arm?

Radial Artery & Saphenous Vein Harvesting

Rocy, sounds like they take that one in his arm simply because they wouldn't use all of the Saphenous Vein from both legs. That process they talk about my buddy in Knoxville helped pioneer. It makes recovery so much easier instead of making the long incisions. Praying he is still doing well.
