Thank you. He is still in the emergency room, waiting for a room, since this morning. Once he gets one, mom can go see him (it’s like what you said, only one family member can visit, has to be the same one each time). I’ve hated that he is alone, but I’ve got peace that he’s not. Same thing I told you yesterday

My Dad he is funny he is hiding under his blanket and peeks at the nurses he trusts my mom and the Doctor he asked the doctor to stay there with him tonight with my mom lol. He is still out of it my mom had to go on a mission to get water and jello that was sealed so he could open it. He doesn't hurt he is just out of it and they haven't gave him nothing since this morning. They was coming to get blood and I was talking to him and said you trust me and mom he said yes I said those nurses are not going to hurt you and he was praying.

Mom is a very strong woman, but it hasn’t been easy for her today as anyone can imagine. We still don’t know anything about dad yet. I’ve been a almost 57 year old on the outside and a 7 year old, that idolize her dad, on the inside. How’s Ralph, your mom and you?

People who have never seen this don’t know how it can go bad fast.
My dad has been my best friend since I was 15 when he said “I’ve raised you, you can still live here but it’s time for you to be a man and make your own decisions “ he and mom have been that couple who’ve been together since 1962 and are always together. July 3rd he asked mom if they were married. Then snapped out of it. These little spouts of confusion have gotten longer but he snaps out. By Monday this week he had progressed to full on confusion. He called me and by the time I got to his house (30 minutes) he was interrogating mom. Demanding to know where my “real mother was”. He slapped her and pulled her hair. He’s never been a violent or angry man but he’s not himself anymore. I had to restrain him physically till the police got there. Again. Reasonably normal on July 2 this year.
It’s a huge problem that’s hanging out there with both candidates with Biden being in the lead towards the end result.

I’m sorry I haven’t posted anything since you posted this. I certainly know how hard it is seeing a parent and person you love, go through Alzheimers/dementia. It can be heartbreaking and draining. Prayers for you.

Oh I get it. My mom had to come home my dad is still out of it he thinks the nurses and some no one is trying to kill him and they haven't given him anything since 9am he told my mom that if she leaves he will be dead on the morning that they are trying to kill him. Crazy I told her if they call and need someone to calm him down that I will go. He can not handle what they gave him. He is not hurting that's good but he was pinching his Cath because he said he was loosing blood and we know that ain't blood. He was funny today but it's getting crazy but I think this is normal. They are going to sedate him tonight give him something for anxiety. The Doctor couldn't believe he isn't hurting. I hope your Dad is well and you just rest assured he will be okay he has people praying for him and OS13 ****'s Dad.

Prayers sent for your Dad and family and you and I know when my Mother had surgery they gave her Morphine and she was allergic I guess and she hallucinated for 4 days and it was
terrible hallucinations and I had to tell them not to give it to her anymore.

I know it's stressful. It broke me when Tiffany was in the hospital, and I couldn't be with her.

It’s his heart again and he’s refusing to let them shock it back in rhythm. He told them that God already gave him a second chance and he doesn’t want to tempt God. Mom is going to try to talk to him about it and pray with him to seek God’s will.

Edit: since he has dementia is it your Mom's decision to make?

And they're about to put Tiffany back in the hospital. She had to do a drive by urine sample yesterday morning. Dr just called her and said the bacteria level was dangerously high, and they're afraid it's gonna get in her blood. She had called them because of how it looked and her heart rate was very high all night. They're gonna do IV antibiotics, and some test while she's sleeping to see if urine is backing up into her kidney. They've gotta figure something out, she's been on cipro since tge last time she was in the hospital.
