Needing prayers.

My friend who has a hard row to hoe here in Madisonville (stood in my living room crying when her job shut down because of Covid) had her mom put on a vent today. Several underlying issues over and above the Covid but she has lost 3 or 4 close family members in the last 6 months to strokes and other reasons. Her last name is Moore and she could use VN's prayer help.
Definitely praying

Got it.

I have too much going on to talk about.
Everyone I know seems to be taking a beating right now. There seems no end in sight but I chose to strive on as Job did and take his words to heart.

I wish my words were written down,
that they were inscribed in a scroll,
that, engraved with iron and filled with lead,
they were cut into rock forever!
“But I know that my Redeemer lives,
that in the end he will rise on the dust;
so that after my skin has been thus destroyed,
then even without my flesh, I will see G-d.
I will see him for myself,
my eyes, not someone else’s, will behold YHWH

shalom y’all

It’s how anyone comes out on the other side of a beating, that defines any of us. Thoughts and prayers for you.

My oncologist told me when I was diagnosed with stage IIIB lung cancer in October of 2016 that 15 out of 100 people live beyond five years. I don’t dwell on it because I try to maintain a positive attitude but there’s always that feeling in the background of waiting for the other shoe to drop. I’ve always been one that tries to prove naysayers wrong. 🙂

When Tiffany was diagnosed with lupus she was also diagnosed with sjogrens disease. With her type of lupus, systemic, and that sjorgens, the life expectancy from diagnosis was 10 years the Dr said. She actually took that news well, I didn't, it tore me up. It's been going on 12 years, and she's still fighting!

It always makes me smile when I see pictures of her with her huge smile on her face.

Unfortunately my friend's mom passed today. Thank you for all the prayers.
