Quoted her @OrangeredbloodedPlease think about Kevin and getting better!
He has had a lot of pain in his throat for over a week. Last Thursday, he went to CVS for an appointment and found a canker sore on his uvula. Was prescribed an antibiotic.
Had major pain and troubles breathing this weekend and went to urgent care and they prescribed something else.
He hasn't been able to eat or sleep much.
This needs to get better!!
Thanks, I must have missed it or old woman memory. I’ll blame either one that’s suits me. I hope Kevin has gotten better since then (I’ll admit, I don’t know when that was posted and don’t feel up to looking it up right now).Quoted her @Orangeredblooded
@volwindy ,how is Kevin?
It may be slow improvement, but that's good! He's doing much better!
Wins:
Slept last night all the way through
Eating more - mashed potatoes (those were painful to eat before) and eggs.
Checked out the spot today - it covers about 75% of the uvula now and not as bright white. So heading in the right direction of healing.
Losses
Tried mac and cheese today, which was off and on painful, but at least somewhat tolerable. So doing bland foods is all he can tolerate right now, but better than hardly eating before.
It's been about 2 weeks, but glad to see improvement in the last 3 days. So probably another week or two before completely back to normal.Mine took a long time to clear up, even with the antibiotics. The doctors never could figure out what caused it either.
Yes. It took a while. I don't think it was a month, but it was pretty close. It's been about 2 weeks, but glad to see improvement in the last 3 days. So probably another week or two before completely back to normal.
He's having to eat very small bites at room temperature. Heat and cold are still bothersome.
stuff like this is just miserable. It's been about 2 weeks, but glad to see improvement in the last 3 days. So probably another week or two before completely back to normal.

It's miserable for both of us. I hate that he's in pain or can't eat what he wants. I hate that I get to enjoy food, so awkward!stuff like this is just miserable.
Hubs developed burning mouth syndrome about 4 months ago (after all the chili peppers were planted, lol.) No visible changes in his mouth, but he can’t eat spicy/hot (as in peppers) food. He’s tried vitamin B complex and zinc, no real change.
He’s starting slowly to get better the last few weeks, but it’s weird for me to tolerate more heat than him.
