Negedu is definitely bitter about what happened, but he is also not a guy who knows how to be anything but guileless when he speaks to the media. Definite cultural differences he can hide behind to a degree.

Cultural differences my butt, these statements are incredibly biased and I second the notion of him falling on his face and breaking his nose. A. Katz had an agenda with this story and it was another negative slant towards our b-ball program, rather than a feel good E. Negedu story. Negedu is a jerk, our staff, university , program and fans went completely out of our way to cater to him when the writing on the wall said he would never play again due to serious medical conditions.

Rasputin he is not from the U.S.

I was just bringing a friend from another country on a tour of a ministry my parents run and he met a woman who parents children there and said "oh I thought you were one of the children." Not something that fits in with the social conventions in America at all. If a woman is youthful you can tell her that you thought her daughter could be her sister or something like that, but you do not say "you look like a child."

Anyone who finds the tone of that story to be negative better hope Daniel West never does anything that merits being interviewed by Katz.

In the sentence you quoted I said three things about Pearl, two of which were positive.

The rear thing was in reference to the 3-4 guys who bash everyone who says anything positive. I just didn't agree with your comment about not caring about any of the players but just himself.

I didn't say he doesn't care about them but number one in Pearl's life is Pearl.
