Shabazz is headed to UCLA. Big money boosters making moves for Howland in the off season. UCLA will pickup Tony Parker, too.

Noel may go either UK or GTown. It's not like Cal to whiff on both of these guys, so I bet he lands Noel.

Oh there is no doubt jones got benefits. You don't change your commitment that late right after your announcement ceremony to your home school just due to one phone call without something going down. Cal was desperate that year. Had he not gotten Jones they would have been dreadful in the front court and a bad team overall.

It's so ignorant to believe these guys don't get benefits. And Jones is one d those guys. It was such an odd situation - you think one heartfelt speech from Cal made him turn his back on his home school were everyone wanted him to be? After he had just made his commitment and was about to sign? Lol.

It's happened with UT football players in the past many times - and it's happening every year at UK with Cal there. No point in denying it. The NCAA can't stop it.

Hell I'm pretty sure even average players at UT like Bobby Maze got illegal benefits while here.

If Cal manages to whiff on both players he may have to resort back to his pay for play days.

That being said, if they're both announcing today then I would feel pretty confident if I were a cat fan.

There have been a lot of Parker to Georgia rumors. But, I do agree Shabazz to UCLA.

Devonta Pollard seems to be a toss-up between Alabama and Georgetown, but it seems like he's always wanted to stay in the south, so I'd guess 'Bama.

Amile Jefferson... I have no clue. Duke maybe. NC State maybe.
