Netflix

The roast was pretty good. I hated the Kreischer/Segura thing. Dana White was trash. Why do they do the Kim K stuff? She has nothing to do with anything. I hate all the gimmicks. Just give me close friends and comics making fun of each other. No surprise, Glaser was the funniest.

What was with all the gay stuff in the roast? Kevin Hart called it white boy humor or something like that, and kinda nailed it. I don't know if other cultures do that. I remember being that way when I was 20 and making jokes like that, but WTF. These are retired NFL players well into their 30's and dudes sucking off other dudes is still ever-present in their minds? I guess you don't grow out of it if you never left the locker room?

Gronk was out of control. WTH was he on?

BTW, my favorite moment in the roast was Peyton Manning comes out as a surprise to intro Tom for the final set. He talks for 2 minutes and then tries to leave the stage exiting the back and Tom's going up to the podium to talk, and BB gets up out of his seat and excitedly and briskly walks across the stage to stop Peyton and shake his hand. It was so out of place and cool. It was just like this ultimate moment demonstrating game respects game. Belichick is a football nerd.

I think Gronk did half his bag of coke, and Ben Affleck found the other half just before he came out.

I'm guessing Tony Hinchcliffe asked Netflix to let him spoof his podcast and Netflix was tired of Dana White asking to be a roaster so they gave him 1 min before Hinchcliffe.

Oh yeah, Affleck was awful.

"I wouldn't do the Roast again, because I don't like the way it affected my kids." - Tom Brady

“I know Kim was terrified to be here tonight. Not because of this but because her kids are at home with their dad,” - also Tom Brady

Your Honor was pretty good.

Didn't know about it until I saw a tweet from Netflix.

I liked that show and my Showtime login I was borrowing got canceled the day before the S1 finale. I heard it was crazy. To this day, I still haven't watched it. Gonna need a hell of a recap. LOL

The Peanut Butter Falcon is movie from 2019 that’s on there and definitely worth checking out. It’s a little slow, but a really good story. Shia Labouf is probably the most likeable he’s ever been in a movie and just knocks his role out of the park.

Started the recently added “Alone” season - one of the reality shows that’s held our attention. Hopefully this is a good season also

I watched it a while ago. I really liked it and you're right about Shia Labouf. A really good heartfelt movie that I'd recommend to anyone.

Honestly, I don't think it was ever good. I think it was nostalgic for us and fun to see the characters again, but then that all wore off. They could have made it so good, but Daniel and his entire family totally suck and the story is out of control. It's almost like an SNL parody as if sketch comedy writers were like "wouldn't it be absurdly hilarious if valley karate turned into an all-out gang war?"
I don't disagree, but I still enjoyed it. I watched the first half of S5 last night that was released and it was good.

The acting seems to have gotten worse and Daniel son's daughter is still the worst on the show. She is so bad and miscast it's almost laughable, but it's not. Lol.

They keep rehashing the same ideas with different characters. It’s had lazy writing most of the time, which is sad. I still enjoy it, but it doesn’t hold my attention like it did in the beginning.

First few seasons I binged the day they came out until I was done with them. This season has been out a few days and I finally saw the first episode. Watched it and turned the tv off to do errands. Usually I end up feeling guilty for neglecting errands. Definitely is not keeping my attention like it used to. It’s not bad tv, just alright to watch when you have time at this point.
