Well, I still feel that is what espn, with other media outlets, used to do with the big 10 and Notre Damnit. Without the gipper and NBC, Notre Dame would of died out in the early 90's. Only thing that keeps them afloat is the fact the NBC has been catholically jewed into showing Notre Dame games and forced to make Notre dame matter in the post season. ND needs to join a conference and quit their little rebelion of A$$holery. The reason UT and several SEC schools have such fewer Heismans is a direct coorelation to the fact that more urban areas have more media.
