Just an added thought here. While Tebow is a good person to me Danny Wuerffel was the best Quarterback and best person to play at Florida in recent memory.Russell Wilson’s faith is rarely mentioned, because he’s really good at football and no one cares. But he’s no less a Christian than Tebow, who is not really good at football, yet his faith is always mentioned…as if that’s why he can’t block an oncoming defender without looking foolish.
The author of that tweet is what’s wrong with social media, spreading willful misinformation in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Tebow is no longer deserving of an NFL roster spot, and his faith has absolutely nothing to do with it.
The author of that tweet free to boycott the NFL for a variety of reasons if he so chooses, but Tebow has proven to us multiple times he’s not NFL material. To state otherwise is willful ignorance.
Exactly, both didn’t have the talent in the end. Skin color and faith had nothing to do with it. The difference between them is one decided to blame others for him not making it and the other has simply tried to find other ways. I think it’s obvious which one of the two deserves respect and which one doesn’t.This guy's tweet is ludicrous, but no more ludicrous than the suggestion that Colin Kaepernick isn't playing because of his skin tone when 70%+ of NFL rosters are comprised of African Americans. Both Tebow and Kaepernick are absent from NFL rosters because they don't have the ability to help an NFL team win games. It's really that simple.
I don't disagree with you on why he's not in the NFL. But it was his Christianity that provided hours of debate on ESPN for praying in 2012, kneeling because the NFL didn't want you to display ones beliefs. Colin did his alone on the sidelines prior to it becoming socially acceptable because of the times. Hypocrisy. But with being said, both are not very good at football now.

That’s true, but not many have had the stage in college and the NFL to have their faith documented and put on display for the world to see, judge, belittle or make news of. Players and Coaches have kneeled in prayer separately or as a group for generations, majority of the time is just a glance over in TV. Didn’t say anything about being a victim, only said his faith was a way for opinion piece shows on ESPN to occupy time slots. Much like when Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf was criticized over staying in the locker room due to his religious beliefs and opinion of the National anthem. His personal beliefs were on display to scrutinized by the media in the open in the late 90’s.Absolute victim-playing bulls***. Tebow is FAR from the only NFL player to profess Christian beliefs and to demonstrate them out in the open.
